It is located in the El Eixample district of Barcelona (the modernistic area). El Eixample is an extension of the city, designed by Ildefons Cerdà and begun in 1860, and is one of the most unusual urban spaces in the world. The personality of Barcelona is rooted in large measure in the unique design of this district.

El Eixample is a relatively small district which is built around the main road which runs through it, the Paseo de Gràcia. The charming Quadrat d'Or (Golden Square) area is bordered by Aribau Street, the Paseo de Sant Joan, the Rondes and Diagonal Avenue.

The consolidation of Quadrat d'Or as the center of the Barcelona bourgeoisie, which occurred during the last decade of the 19th century and the first decade of the 20th, coincided with the spread of Modernism. A stroll through the area will reveal to attentive visitors a wealth of historic buildings, which were built when the bourgeoisie moved away from the old city to the center of El Eixample around 1900.

IMPORTANT: On arrival
-Please inform us the exact time of your arrival at Barcelona by email or telephone and at least two days before or the day before in order to organize your check-in time

ARRIVAL
Even though we will advise the owner of your arrival time, please remember to phone the owner on arrival at the airport, train or coach station, or when approching the city of Barcelona, if you travel by car.
- The owner will only go towards the apartment once he/she receives your phone call.
- Eventually, if you are more than 30 minutes late, you will be expected to advise the owner, as he/she will be waiting for your arrival.

CHECK IN:
- On arrival at the apartment, you will be asked to pay cash for the remaining amount. Please make sure you have enough money with you.
- The owner will show you around the apartment and will give you the necessary information to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
- People checking in later than 8pm will be have to pay an extra charge. These extra charges are to be paid directly to the check-in person on the spot.
Between 20h and 24h 20 €
Between 24h and 7h 50 €
Between 7h adn 8h 20 €

DURING YOUR STAY:
- If you have any kind of problem during your stay, you will have to contact the owner directly.

CHECK OUT:
- The limit for checking out is 12 a.m. sharp, though we recommend to try and check out between 9 and 10 a.m. Upon arrival, an hour must be agreed upon for check out. As a general rule, the owner or his representative will come to check the apartment and get the keys, and guests must be ready to leave immediately. Failure to leave at the agreed time for check-out and/or later than 12 a.m. means an additional night is due, without any right of further ocupancy.
- The owner will come to check the apartment, pick-up the keys and refund you the total deposit if the apartment is in the same state as it was when you arrived.
- People checking in or out between 8am will be charged 30€ extra. These extra charges are to be paid directly to the check-in person on the spot.
