THE HOTEL
Located in the heart of Barcelona the HOTEL ALBINONI hotel is situated in a beautiful Neoclassical palace built by Pedro Bassegoda i Mateu in 1876. The building, which became a hotel in 1998, has been added to the Artistic Heritage catalogue of the city.
The HOTEL ALBINONI still preserves its original Neoclassical façade which features Romantic and Baroque motifs. The entry hall, large enough to hold carriages from the beginning of the century, leads to the interior courtyard that has been renovated according to the original model and is now home to the reception and bar.
This 3 star hotel offers 74 rooms, all carefully decorated and equipped with air conditioning, mini-bar, direct dial telephone, interactive satellite TV with pay-per-view movies, Canal +, free Wireless Internet connection, safe deposit box and complete marble bathroom with a hair dryer.
Guests are invited to enjoy the breakfast buffet served under a unique marquee on the hotel garden patio. For their evening meal the in-house restaurant, with its tranquil setting, is a perfect place to enjoy traditional Catalan cuisine.
